I think most of us are feeling like "something" is going on, something's different, but we can't quite put our finger on it.  Of course there are the overt changes such as the economy.  But there is also an energetic shift going on that we need to be aware of, in order to maintain some kind of balance in our lives.

The housing market is a representation of this change.  Remember about two years ago when it seemed that the world was ours for the taking - and most everyone took?  Developers and builders were throwing up houses and condos everywhere, believing that the demand would never end.  And then it all came crashing down around them.  I never thought I'd see boarded up houses in the Southpark area, but so it is.  This is a representation of the change we're being asked to make.

Things will never be quite the same as they were a while back.  We're all a bit more aware, a bit more conscious of our world.  Most of us pay more attention to our money and how we live our lives.  I think this is a great thing, and it's about time.  Energetically it means we're growing into a new world, a new way of being that will eventually be more peaceful and joyful.  Growth never happens without growing pains, and if these growing pains are an indication of our level of growth  - watch out, because it will be wonderful!  So relax into all of it, because there is a big light at the end of the tunnel - and it's good feng shui!

I know this newsletter goes out to people who have or are in the process of buying or selling a house.  These are tough times to do either, but so it is.  We have to work with what we're given, and this time we're being challenged.

I know, because I'm trying to sell my house at the moment.

Spring is the season of new beginnings, not only in Nature but for humans as well.  The world is in the process of a new beginning as well.  We're being asked to give up and let go of our old ways and embrace change.  I believe that this is a good thing because change means growth, and right now we're experiencing "growing pains".

Pay attention to those things in your life that grate and grind, because those are the things that you're being asked to shift, they're aspects that no longer serve.  It may be that all you need to do is shift the way you hold them and not give them up completely.  You'll know by the way you feel as you move through this process.

Give thanks to those pieces of your life that feel good, for they are your foundation, things that soothe and comfort you through your growth period.  Call upon the healing energy of gratitude anytime you're stressed.  Ask yourself, "In this moment, at this time, what is there in my life that I can be thankful for?"  Sometimes it may be only that you're breathing, but it's a start.  Reach for the better feeling place at all times - its "good feng shui!"
